Craft has teamed with Panattoni Development to help with the design of two Class “A” industrial warehouses. The two buildings, known as the Northeast Redevelopment Area (NERA), will total 458,500 square feet. Square One Distribution moves into new 75,000 square foot warehouse and administrative facility at Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park.
Craft Architects was hired to master plan and design this 4.645 acre site as a build-to-suit for Square One Distribution with 60,500 sf of warehouse and three story 14,600 sf of office portion for a facility totaling 75,100 sf.

Craft Architects wins Retail Development of the Year for the amazing McClendon Hardware, Tacoma store!
Craft Architects’ Principal Kathy Craft and Nic Shackleton, Store Development Manager for McLendon Hardware were featured presenters at the NAIOP October Breakfast Meeting & Fall Seminar held this morning at the Westin in downtown Seattle. Their segment, “McLendon Hardware Tacoma, New Store Development,” covered the entire project from concept through completion. The new 68,000+ SF Tacoma store is McLendon’s first new lation in 17 years. The building was a complete renovation and expansion of an existing structure, transforming it into a hands-on, interactive shopping environment for McLendon’s customers.
McLendon Hardware is a local, family-run business in operation since the 1920’s, and this project was designed to showcase their traditional values and commitment to customer service. Special features of the store include quality finishes throughout the store, an expansive year-round gardening center, and the centerpiece of the store - a DIY House complete with How-To videos and Do-It-Yourself product demonstrations and over 600 unique products installed in a true-to-life, full scale model house.
